Introducing the Goals of the Day Post-It pad, the pad designed to help you increase your productivity and achieve your goals.
How does it work? Well, simply mark the date and day. And from there, list 1-5 goals for the day. Why 1-5 goals? Well, on average, 3 goals is an achievable number for any given day. See, setting marks for the day is high science. It’s very easy to get over zealous, and work to be the overachiever, which is not a bad thing.
But if you find yourself committing to 10+ goals any given day, you more than likely won’t hit them, and you’ll feel like a failure. But mark too few hits for the day, you might feel like a slacker.
Now depending on the scope of goals you’d like to accomplish any given day, 3 is a great average to shoot for. Not too few where you’d feel like a slacker, and not too many to where you might feel like you’re stretching yourself too thin. BUT there are 5 spaces to fill in, just in case you get ahead of your day, and want to push harder to achieve your goals.
But don’t push too hard beyond 5, you might be setting yourself up for failure.
But what do you do at the end of the day with the pad? Well, there are spaces to take notes & reflect on the day, as well as a spot to check off if you nailed it, or regroup for tomorrow. That reflection and evaluation is important. Not only in the moment to recognize your strengths and weaknesses throughout the day, but also saving your notes for the week, month or year, you’ll see a pattern develop to where you can adjust your outlook and planning to be more successful in the future.
Hope you’ll give the Goals of the Day pad a try. Here’s wishing you all the success!
